Our guide will be there waiting for you. Pick up and proceed to your hotel room around the airport, where you will spend a night resting for the long journey. This will depend onyour arrival time, however you might be driven straight to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, we head to Kibale forest via Fort portal town. On your way, you will start experiencing the beauty of Uganda. You will see great landscapes, the equator crossing line,beautiful birds and the rwenzori mountain ranges. The journey is approximately 8 hours drive with resting points and time to take some photos if in need. Once you arrive, you will be taken to your hotel rooms for refreshment.
After breakfast, we head to the trucking site for chimpanzee trekking. Kibale national park hosts the highest number of primates in the whole of East Africa including chimpanzees, baboons, black & white colobus monkeys and the blue monkey. You should expect to come across a number of primates such as; the golden monkeys, La’Hoest’s monkeys, baboons, blue monkeys, white & black colobus monkeys, the grey checked mangabey, pottos and red colobus. Other animals include forest elephants which are a common type, large forest hogs as well as several tree species. This forest is also a home to over 130 bird species which you will come across will on this tour. e.g. Great Blue Turaco and Papyrus Gonolek. You should also expect to see anumber of butterfly species. You will have evening nature walk across the camps in this forest. Dinner and over night at Ndali lodge.
Check out at 8:00 AM after breakfast and drive back to Entebbe airport to catch up with your flight back home.
